The Turkish Consul General and a high-level delegation from the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) visited Government College University Lahore, marking a significant milestone in the strong relations between Pakistan and Turkey.
During the visit, the delegation inaugurated a newly established Turkish Language Center, highlighting the importance of education and cultural exchange between the two countries.
The Turkish Consul General expressed his pleasure at seeing the progress made since their visit to GC University three months ago, where they decided to establish the center. “Pakistan and Turkey have always been brotherly countries, sharing in each other’s joys and sorrows,” he said. ” TİKA is proud to be a part of this special relationship, supporting important projects in Pakistan and strengthening our bonds.”
The head of TİKA, Muhsin Balci, also spoke at the occasion, emphasizing the crucial role TİKA plays in promoting Turkey’s development activities in Pakistan. “Education is a vital sector, and we are working on various projects in this field,” he said. “We are thrilled to see the progress made and look forward to continuing our support for education and development in Pakistan.”
The delegation also discussed the significance of the newly established Turkish Language Center, which will promote Turkish language and culture in Pakistan.
