Condolence on the Demise of Iranian Red Crescent Volunteers & Distruction of Rescue Hospitals

Karachi: The Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Sindh Branch has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic death of a volunteer of the Iranian Red Crescent who lost their life while performing humanitarian duties during the ongoing conflict in Iran & agression from outside.


Chairman Mr. Rehan Hashmi, Provincial Secretary Mr. Kanwar Waseem & Media Coordinator Mr. R.Ahmed visited the Consulate of Iran in Karachi and met with the Iranian Consul General H.E Akbar Eissazadah & V C.G Gholam Abbas, to convey their heartfelt condolences on behalf of PRCS Sindh. Chairman Rehan Hashmi stated that the violation of Geneva Convention is highly alarming which clearly asserts SOPs in war & armed conflicts. They expressed solidarity with the Iranian Red Crescent Society and the people of Iran during this difficult time. They also expressed their deep concern on undiscriminated bombing on civilians, hospitals & schools. Rehan Hashmi also expressed his deep grief on the loss of Iranian Spritual & Relegious Leader.


The leadership of PRCS Sindh paid tribute to the dedication and sacrifice of the volunteers who was serving humanity in challenging circumstances. They stated that volunteers and humanitarian workers of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement always stand on the front lines to provide relief and assistance to those affected by conflicts and disasters.


PRCS Sindh also prayed for the departed soul and extended sympathies to the bereaved family and colleagues of the Iranian Red Crescent volunteers.
