KARACHI: The Sindh Institute of Child Health & Neonatology (SICHN), an initiative of the Health Department, Government of Sindh, has announced the appointment of renowned actor and philanthropist Humayun Saeed as its Brand Ambassador. The institution, which is dedicated to improving maternal, child, and neonatal health across Sindh, aims to expand its outreach and awareness efforts through this collaboration.
Humayun Saeed visited SICHN on Thursday, where he was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Syed Jamal Raza, Executive Director of the institute. The visit marked the beginning of a campaign to enhance public awareness regarding child and neonatal health, as well as the availability of free and specialized medical care provided by SICHN.
As the Brand Ambassador, Humayun Saeed will help highlight SICHN’s mission to improve child healthcare, promote preventive measures, and strengthen community awareness about children’s health rights.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Syed Jamal Raza praised Humayun Saeed’s commitment to social causes, stating that his compassion and public influence will help us reach more families, spread awareness, and strengthen our collective efforts toward a healthier Sindh.
Dr. Jamal Raza added that while SICHN primarily serves Karachi’s massive population, it also treats patients from various parts of Sindh, as well as southern Punjab and Balochistan.
Our goal is to ensure that more children receive access to quality healthcare, which is why we are expanding our network across the province, he said.

SICHN is the largest network of children’s hospitals in Sindh, offering advanced Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units (NICU and PICU) and specialized services in neurology, nephrology, cardiology, endocrinology, and rehabilitation, all completely free of cost.
